Significant progress on the rehabilitation of the Women Handicraft Center in Al-Muneera District, Hodeidah Governorate
With support from our Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (#SIERY) Project, the center is being rehabilitated and equipped with sewing machines and solar power panels.
Connected by the newly asphalted road in Al-Muneera, also supported by the #SIERY Project, this center will:
Create job opportunities for women
Provide a space for them to learn new skills
Generate income for the district and increase revenue
